I directed at Colossal Pictures for Ameritech Pages Plus phone book. The title of the spot was "New Car" and through the animation, the phone book opens up and we follow a little car as it goes through the steps of being sold, getting insured, and finding a garage to be maintained. Click on the thumbnail panels at the bottom to view the production sketches, character designs and production story boards. The large picture to the right is one of the still shots that was used in the initial creative process to bid on the Ameritech project. I wanted to show the agency and the clients what the commercial would look like on film and 3 dimensionally. The set for this still was built out of cardboard and set up on top of a table then shot with a 35 mm camera. |
