Wetzell's
mother was struck by lightning while still pregnant with him. She
died from the lightning strike but he lived to become electric,
transformed from the blast. Wetzell lives with his grand parents who only pay attention to him when they need to use his electro-statically charged hair to spark up a light for their cigarettes. One day Wetzell was playing with his pet Ever Ready the Cat when a very rich kid named Melvin was walking by with his fancy radio controlled truck just as it ran out of power. Wetzell used his hair to charge the toy back up. Melvin, who by nature is selfish and evil, invited Wetzell, under the guise of being best friends, back to his parent’s house where he had hundreds of batter operated toys that were all dead. Wetzell drained all his power charging the toys up for Melvin, who then kicked Wetzell out. Wetzell lay dieing until Ever Ready jumped up on his chest, uncurled his tail and stuck it in the electric wall socket. To save his friend, Ever Ready sacrificed his life. |
